Archival and Records Roles
- Archivist – Arrangement and Description: Help organize and label old documents.
- Assistant Archivist (Various Specialisations): Support experts in different archive areas.
- Records Management: Track and store records properly.
- Archivist – Oral History: Record stories from people about the past.
- Archivist – Outreach and Publications: Share archive info with the public through events or books.
Technical and IT Roles
- Systems Administrator: Manage computer networks for the project.

- Scanner Operator: Scan old materials into digital format.
Audio-Visual and Media Roles
- Audio-visual Archives Assistant (Film & Video Preservation): Clean and protect old films and videos.

Minimum Requirements
Each role has its own needs, but most ask for Grade 10 or higher. Specialized jobs want a diploma or degree in archives, IT, or related fields. IT roles may need certifications like MCSE. Some positions require a driver’s licence, such as Code 10 with PDP. All applicants must be South African citizens under 35 and unemployed.
