Applications are open for the Enel Foundation Open Global Power Program 2026. This program trains young energy professionals to lead sustainable energy changes around the world. It builds on past efforts like Open Africa Power and Open Brazil Power, now combined into one global platform.
The program mixes online learning with in-person events. It covers technical skills, rules, and business know-how for a fair energy shift. Partners include top schools from Italy, Africa, Brazil, Chile, and other places. The 2026 version has shared lessons plus paths tailored to different regions.
Program Structure
The program has four main parts. Each builds skills step by step.
1. Foundational Module
This online module lasts 4 weeks. It takes about 6 hours each week. All accepted participants join it. The lessons give basic knowledge for everyone.
2. Global Policy and Regulation Module
This part is online with self-paced and live sessions. It runs for about 4 months, but not straight through. All participants take it. Focus is on worldwide energy rules and policies.
3. Territorial Modules
These online modules last 4 weeks. They need 4 to 8 hours per week. All participants complete them. Content fits specific regions like Africa, Brazil, or Chile.
4. Final Residential Module in Italy
Top performers, about 10% of participants, attend this in-person week in Italy. It wraps up the training with hands-on work.
