Learnership Overview
The program runs for 12 months and provides hands-on training. Participants work with sales teams to build skills in product displays and store execution. You will visit stores daily, set up displays, and engage with customers to boost brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Execution and Merchandising
You will follow a schedule for store visits each day. Set up product displays that meet company standards and make items easy to see. Check stock levels, rotate products, and keep everything fresh. Fill out surveys on store conditions and hit sales targets.
Customer Support
Help customers place orders through the MyCCBA platform. Take part in promotions and campaigns to draw in shoppers. Talk to customers to learn what they like and how they shop.
Team Collaboration
Join sales team members for daily tasks. Get advice from account developers and managers. Offer help as needed to support the team.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you need a Grade 12 certificate with at least 40% in Mathematics or Maths Literacy, English, and another language. Be a South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old. You must be unemployed, not in school or another learnership, and have no criminal record or bad credit. No prior completion of this qualification. Be ready to work six days a week.
A driver’s license or extra qualifications in sales and marketing give you an edge.
Skills and Competencies
Strong communication and people skills help you connect with customers. Focus on service and notice small details in displays. Handle busy times well and work as part of a team.
Programme Details
The learnership lasts 12 months and leads to at least 120 credits. It fits the sales, marketing, and retail fields.
