About the CIPC Internship Programme
CIPC, part of the dtic, runs structured internships to give graduates practical workplace experience. Participants apply what they learned in school to daily tasks. This helps build strong careers in government service.
The internships last 12 or 24 months, depending on the role. Everyone receives a monthly stipend of R12 000. They take place at the Sunnyside Office in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Available Internship Opportunities
CIPC has two types of internships open right now.
Records Management Interns (X2)
Reference number: RecManInterns.
This 12-month program needs a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Records Management, Library and Information Science, or Information Management.
Interns handle document organization and storage systems. They learn to manage records in a busy office setting.
E-Communications Interns (X2)
Reference number: e-Cominterns.
This 24-month role requires a National Diploma in Public Administration.
Interns support electronic communication tools and public outreach. They assist with digital messaging and admin tasks.
Who Can Apply?
You must meet these basic rules:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be an unemployed graduate.
- Be aged 18 to 35.
- Have no prior internship in your study field.
CIPC checks all details for shortlisted applicants.
