Gert Sibande TVET College and INSETA Announce 2026 Work Integrated Learning Programme

Gert Sibande TVET College, in partnership with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), is offering a valuable 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity for unemployed students. This program aims to provide practical workplace experience, helping students complete their qualifications and become more employable within the insurance sector. Applications are open for the 2026 intake, with a closing date of June 1, 2026.

The WIL programme will place successful candidates in insurance organizations across the Gert Sibande Region in Mpumalanga, South Africa. This provides essential industry exposure and hands-on experience in the financial and insurance fields.

About the Programme

The Gert Sibande TVET College and INSETA WIL Programme is designed for students who need practical experience to finish their studies. It lasts for 18 months and focuses on placing participants in real work environments within the insurance industry. This collaboration between the college and INSETA is a key step in bridging the gap between academic learning and the demands of the professional world. The goal is to equip students with the skills and experience needed to succeed in their chosen careers.
