Minimum Requirements for Applicants

  • Technical Grade 12: A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics as a subject.
  • N2 Engineering Certificate: A full N2 Engineering Certificate, which includes four subjects, with a focus on relevant trade theory.
  • SETA-Accredited NQF Level 3: A technical trade theory program that has been quality assured by a SETA and is recognized as equivalent to NQF Level 3.
  • Relevant Engineering NC(V) Certificate: A National Certificate (Vocational) in Engineering with seven subjects at NQF Level 3.
  • Technical Grade 11: A Grade 11 certificate that includes Mathematics, Science, Language, and a related trade theory subject.
