Who Can Apply? Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet these rules:

  • Be 18 to 34 years old.
  • Have at least Grade 10 (Standard 8).
  • Be unemployed.
  • Not have joined a YES4Youth programme before.
  • Not be in any government-funded training.

Documents You Need

Submit all these items, or your application will not count:

  • Updated CV.
  • Certified ID copy (less than 3 months old).
  • Certified highest qualification copy (less than 3 months old).
  • SARS Tax document or letter.
  • Stamped bank details or statement (less than 3 months old).

Recruitment Process

Shortlisted applicants face these steps:

  • Background checks for criminal records, ID, and qualifications.
  • Medical exam at an I&J site.
