Projects and Engineering Internships

This program seeks to fill five positions within the Projects and Engineering division. Interns will be based in Mafikeng, Brits WTW, Vaalkop WTW, and Padda Junction Projects. Applicants must hold a minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering to be considered for these roles.

GIS Internship

One position is available for a GIS Intern, located at the Brits Lab within the Projects and Engineering department, specifically focusing on GIS. The required qualification is a minimum BSc in Geomatics or an equivalent degree. This role is ideal for individuals interested in spatial data and its applications.

Mechanical Engineering Internship

A single Mechanical Engineering Internship is offered at Vaalkop WTW, within the Water Services – Mechanical department. Candidates should possess a minimum S4 Mechanical Engineering qualification, a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar qualification.

Water Services Production Internship

The Water Services – Production department at Vaalkop WTW is looking for one intern. Applicants need a National Diploma in Water Care, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. This internship focuses on the practical aspects of water treatment and production processes.

ICT Internship

The Corporate Services – ICT Department is offering three internship positions across Brits Lab, Head Office, and Mafikeng/Far West.
