Facilities & Fleet Management

This role covers building maintenance and repair. You need a Certificate in Basic Plumbing. Interns assist with everyday fixes and support fleet needs.

Building Maintenance and Repair

Focus here is on carpentry tasks. A Certificate in Carpentry is required. You will help with repairs and inspections across municipal buildings.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, be a South African citizen. Your age must fall between 18 and 35. You need to be unemployed now. Hold a Degree, National Diploma, or Certificate from a recognized school. Show interest in plumbing, carpentry, or maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

Interns handle routine maintenance and repairs. They support facilities management. Tasks include infrastructure checks and fixes. Work with pros on the job. Follow safety rules. Join training sessions. Track all work done.

Submit the Nyandeni Local Municipality Employment Application Form. Include a detailed CV. Add copies of your qualifications. Provide a copy of your South African ID. A driver’s licence helps if you have one.
