Young scientists from developing countries have a chance to advance their research through the TWAS-CUI Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2026. This funded program supports postdoctoral work in natural and social sciences at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) in Pakistan. It targets researchers who want to build skills and contribute to science in their home countries.

Fields of Study

The fellowship covers key areas in natural and applied sciences. These include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and the Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM). Other fields are Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy. Social sciences may qualify if the applicant holds a relevant PhD.

Benefits

Fellows receive a monthly stipend from CUI. This covers living costs like food, housing, and health insurance. Note that the stipend cannot convert to foreign currency. The support lasts for the fellowship period, helping researchers focus on their work.
