Opportunity 1: Grants Administrator Positions

SASSA is looking to fill two permanent Grants Administrator positions at Level 05. These roles are based in the Mopani District at the Maruleng Local Office. The salary offered ranges from R237,453 to R279,708 per annum, not including benefits.

Minimum Requirements for Grants Administrator

To be considered for these positions, applicants must possess a Senior Certificate or Matric. Additionally, an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA, is required. This qualification should be in one of the following fields: Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law, or Information Technology. Computer literacy is essential, and a valid driver’s license will be an advantage.

Duties of a Grants Administrator

Successful candidates will be responsible for providing customer care services and processing grant applications. Key duties include capturing and maintaining beneficiary information, administering medical bookings, and supporting grant assessments. They will also conduct outreach services and manage the scanning and batching of grant files for processing.

Opportunity 2: Work Integrated Learning Programme

This program is specifically designed for TVET College learners who have completed their N6 studies and need workplace experience to obtain their National Diploma. There are eight positions available across various departments.

Duration: Up to 18 months
Monthly Stipend: R5,639.75

Human Capital Management (3 Posts)

Learners with an N6 qualification in Human Resources Management are invited to apply. Positions are available in the Vhembe District, Mopani District, and at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Facilities Management and Auxiliary Support (1 Post)

An N6 qualification in Public Management, Public Administration, or Business Management is required for this role at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Finance (2 Posts)

Applicants with an N6 qualification in Financial Accounting or Financial Management can apply for these positions. Opportunities are located in the Sekhukhune District and at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Grants Administration (2 Posts)

For these roles, an N6 qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, Public Administration, or Financial Accounting is needed. Positions are available in Waterberg (Mookgophong) and Capricorn (Blouberg).

Opportunity 3: SASSA Internship Programme 2026

Graduates seeking practical experience in the government sector can apply for these 24-month internship opportunities. SASSA offers three internship positions in key areas.

Duration: 24 months
Monthly Stipend: R7,860.50

Information and Communication Technology Internship (1 Post)

This internship requires a Degree, B-Tech, or National Diploma in Information Technology. The position is based at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Legal Services Internship (1 Post)

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is the qualification required for this internship, also located at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Fraud and Compliance Internship (1 Post)

For this role, applicants need a Degree, B-Tech, or National Diploma in Forensic Investigation or Compliance Management. The position is situated at the Limpopo Regional Office.

Who Should Apply?

All applicants must be South African citizens. TVET N6 graduates are eligible for the Work Integrated Learning opportunities, while graduates with Degrees, Diplomas, B-Techs, and LLB degrees can apply for the internship positions.
